Classic acupuncture
- During acupuncture treatment, very thin needles are inserted into specific points of the body for stimulation. This happens almost painlessly. Depending on the treatment, the needles will remain on those points for a certain amount of time. For certain conditions, other treatments such as ear acupuncture, electric acupuncture, cupping, or TDP lamps are often combined with classic acupuncture.
Ear acupuncture
- Stimulation of specific ear regions or points has proven to have an effect on the body.
Electro-acupuncture
- Electric current from an electro-acupuncture device is guided through the acupuncture needles into the acupuncture points.
